SOIL IMPROVER WITH WHITE-ROT FUNGI AND METHODS OF USING THEREOF FOR PLANT RESTORATION AND RECOVER OF HEAVY METALS CONTAMINATED SOIL AROUND ABANDONED MINE AREA
A soil improver is provided to restore vegetation in an abandoned mine area broken by a low pH and lack of nutrients, to reduce exposure of a slant in an abandoned mine area, and to inhibit heavy metals from dissolving into soil or a river around in an abandoned mine area. A soil improver comprises sludge and decomposed saw dust, and further comprises at least 10^7 white-rot fungi per unit gram of the sludge and decomposed saw dust. Particularly, the white-rot fungus is at least one selected from the group consisting of Trametes versicolor, Pleurotus ostreatus, Phanerochaete sordida, Trametes hirsutus, Fusarium culmorum, Phanerochaete chrysosporium and Deposition No. KCCM 10725P.
