SMALL FRACTAL ANTENNA FOR MULTI-BAND OPERATION

A small fractal antenna for multi-band is provided to minimize the size thereof by using only a half of the whole fractal shape by using the symmetry of the fractal shape. A small fractal antenna for multi-band includes a microstrip substrate(1), a radiating patch(2), a slot, a grounding surface(7), and a feeding unit(6). The radiating patch(2) is formed on the upper surface of the substrate(1), and has the shape of a polygon to realize a first resonance frequency. The slot is formed on the radiating patch(2) to realize at least one resonance frequency, and has the shape of fractal. The grounding surface(7) is formed on the lower surface of the substrate(1). The feeding unit(6) is coupled with the radiating patch(2) through the substrate(1) from the grounding surface(7).
