A method of manufacturing ginseng chicken soup(Samgyetang) for good health by filling the belly of chicken with glutinous rice, jujube, garlic, Astragalus root, ginseng, Licorice root and Cervus elaphus is provided. The food product has a non-greasy taste and the efficacy of herbs and is very easy to digest and be absorbed into the body. A chicken is heated with 2L water over slow fire at 100deg.C for 30min and cooled. After removing the rib, the chicken is filled with a cup of glutinous rice, 2 jujubes, 5 cloves of garlic, 1 root of Astragalus root, 1 root of ginseng, 100g licorice root and 100g Cervus elaphus. The chicken with contents in the belly is heated with 5 cloves of whole garlic, 3 jujubes, 1 root of ginseng, 2 branches of Kalopanax pictus and 2L water at 100deg.C for 1hr.
