A highly-efficient polarized light guide plate unit, a backlight unit and a display device employing the same are provided to improve light use efficiency of the backlight unit by forming the polarized light guide plate unit having improved polarization efficiency and increased intensity of vertical emission light. A light guide plate(260) guides light from a light source(100). A collimating member(220) is provided on the light guide plate, and includes a plurality of reflective patterns(226) each having an inclined surface(226b) for upwardly reflecting light emitted from the light guide plate. A polarization separating layer(240) is provided between the reflective patterns and the light guide plate respectively, and transmits light of first polarization and reflects light of second polarization perpendicular to the first polarization among light incident from the light guide plate.
