METHOD OF ENDING A MUITI-TASK IN A MOBILE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL AND THE MOBILE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL THEREOF

A method for terminating multitasking in a mobile communication terminal and a mobile communication terminal for performing the same are provided to offer an interface matched with a user's intuitive recognition that a currently executed task is terminated in case of closing a folder. A method for terminating multitasking in a mobile communication terminal comprises the following several steps. If a user closes a folder in the mobile communication terminal while the terminal is performing multitasking at the user's request(S210,S220), a controller recognizes that the folder is closed and checks whether there exists a task, at which a termination preventing function is set, among plural tasks currently in execution(S230). If so, the controller controls termination remaining tasks except the task at which a termination preventing function is set(S240). So, if the user opens the folder(S250), the terminal displays a usage screen of the task at which a terminating preventing function is set(S260). If not, the controller terminates all the tasks currently in execution(S245). So, if the user opens the folder(S255), the terminal displays an idle screen(S265).
