An IP sharer-embedded ADSL modem is provided to enable users to use a public IP address in common under a ADSL service provider's approval, to support the speed of each port at the same level as the speed that the ADSL service provider provides, and to upgrade new software in a remote place by embedding an IP sharer in an ADSL modem and unifying both of the systems. An IP sharer-embedded ADSL modem consists of a power part(10), a reset part(20), a display part(30), an Ethernet part(40), an ADSL part(50), an AFE part(60), and a voice filter part(70). The power part(10) supplies necessary power to each board. The reset part(20) initializes each part when power is inputted or when a reset button is pushed. The display part(30) displays the operation status of each part through LEDs. The Ethernet part(40) maintains the bit rate of each port identically using an Ethernet chipset(41). The Ethernet part(40), composed of a transceiver and input/output ports, enables a user to access an Ethernet. The ADSL part(50) consists of an ADSL router(51), an SDRAM(52), and a flash memory(53). The AFE part(60), composed of a filter necessary for ADSL communication, is connected with an ISP network. The voice filter part(70) extracts only voice signals from line signals.
