BLOCK FOR EMBANKMENT AND IT'S CONSTRUCTION METHOD RETAINING PREVENTION EROSION FOR COAST AND WATERSIDE CREATION

An embankment block and a construction method of an embankment using embankment blocks are provided to prevent the loss of sand and erosion of the coastal bottom, to have the function of waterfront facilities such as recreation facilities for tourists on the exposed coast from seawater by an ebb tide, and to reduce the working hours and the cost of materials required for constructing an embankment by using a setting rope, a burying rope and a fixing rope. An embankment block(10) contains seating grooves formed on a ground plane adhered closely to an emission sheet(2) to insert setting ropes(5), binding holes(12) penetrated each seating groove vertically and filled with sand, stone, etc. after installation to reduce the buoyancy of the embankment block, and a burying rope(15) fixed to the seating grooves horizontally. A construction method of an embankment using embankment blocks comprises the steps of: leveling the coastal bottom(1) along the coastline; spreading an emission sheet on the leveled coastal bottom; arranging setting ropes on the emission sheet vertically and regularly; installing many embankment blocks vertically and horizontally on the slope of the emission sheet; binding up the burying rope located in the binding holes of the block and the lower setting rope using a fixing rope(20); and filling up the inside of the binding holes of the block with sand, stone, etc.
