APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR SUPPORTING PUSH AGENT SERVICE AND OPEN MOBILE BUSINESS SUPPORT SYSTEM

A push agent service apparatus, a method thereof, and an open mobile business support system using the same are provided to simply request a desired push service by providing an integrated interworking structure between legacy systems for push services and a standardized API(Application Program Interface) for the request of a push service and the return of a result. A push agent service apparatus comprises an MQ(Message Queue) driving part(110), a common management part(120), a push service setup management part(130), a contents transmitting part(140), and a legacy interface part(150). The MQ driving part(110) receives a push service-associated request from a business logic processing part or an infra channel providing part through an appointed queue of a message transfer part(30), and returns a result value, a response to the request. The common management part(120) manages environment of the push agent service apparatus and configuration information for log creation, and creates a log according to an operation of the push agent service apparatus. The push service setup management part(130) manages connection information from a CP/SP system and service registration/release information from mobile terminals. The contents transmitting part(140) manages contents and a message, received through the MQ driving part(110), and controls a transmission method and transmission time for the contents and the message. The legacy interface part(150) transmits a message to an SMSC(Short Message Service Center) or a CBSC(Cell Broadcasting Service Center) in a push method and receives an execution result.
