A dental restorative material made of amalgam containing nano silver is provided to inhibit the proliferation and infection of decayed tooth-causing bacteria in cared teeth and improve biological stability and bioavailability, so that healthy teeth are maintained for a long period. The dental restorative material made of amalgam consisting of tin, copper, gold, zinc, lead, palladium, indium and cadmium(40) contains 0.01-20 wt.% of nano silver(20) powder based on 100 wt.% of the dental restorative material, wherein the dental restorative material further comprises 43-54 wt.% of liquid mercury based on 46-57 wt.% of the nano silver containing dental restorative material for trituration amalgamation; and the particle size of the nano silver(20) is 0.05-300nm.
