Method for Medium Access Controlling and system and method for channel time reservation in distributed wireless personal area networks

An MAC(Media Access Control) method in a distributed wireless personal area network, and a system and a method for reserving a channel time are provided to detect a reservation conflict that can be generated during a reservation process of data slots, and solve it. When a common free slot is decided(S1301), a source device 'S' includes a reservation request information in its beacon(S1303). When at least one selectable slots are provided as a portion of the reservation request, the counter device 'D' checks whether a reserved procedure by a different device has been performed on the corresponding slots(S1305). A proper response(accept or decline) is returned as reservation response information of a beacon of the counter device 'D'(S1307). The counter device 'D' updates its reservation instruction information when transmitting acceptance as the reserved response information(S1309). When the source device 'S' determines to display confirmation, the reservation instruction information is updated(S1311). When the source device 'S' determines to display conformation, it transmits reservation confirmation information during the next super-frame(S1313). Communication is initiated(S1315).
