A method capable of effectively neutralizing high-alkaline leachate caused by slag at low cost is provided. The method for neutralization of high-alkaline leachate caused by slag comprises adding zinc sludge that is a by-product generated from a steel plating process to high-alkaline leachate caused by slag, thereby mixing the zinc sludge with the high-alkaline leachate to neutralize the high-alkaline leachate. The zinc sludge is added to the high-alkaline leachate in an amount of 40 to 60 weight parts based on the slag weight of 100 weight parts when the slag has a grain size of less than 0.2 mm. The zinc sludge is added to the high-alkaline leachate in an amount of 20 to 25 weight parts based on the slag weight of 100 weight parts when the slag has a grain size of less than 0.2 mm to less than 2 mm. The zinc sludge is added to the high-alkaline leachate in an amount of 10 to 11 weight parts based on the slag weight of 100 weight parts when the slag has a grain size of less than 2 mm to less than 5.6 mm.
