A burst transmission method in an optical burst switching system using wavelength division is provided to advance the commercialization of optical burst switching networks by dividing SHG(Several Hop Going) bursts according to offset time allocated to the SHG bursts generated in the previous nodes, allocating the bursts to respectively different wavelengths, and then transmitting the bursts. The current node, or the first node, creates SHG bursts, which will arrive at a destination node via a plurality of nodes, allocates the created SHG bursts to a dedicated wavelength group in order to avoid collision with SHG bursts transmitted from the previous nodes, and transfers them to the next node, or the second node(S100,S200). The second node deciphers various kinds of offset time of the SHG bursts transferred from the previous nodes, and classifies them according to offset times(S300). Then, the second node allocates the classified SHG bursts to respectively different wavelength groups, and transmits them to the next node, or the third node(S400).
