PROTECTED METHOD OF WEBPAGE USING A SAFE SERVER OR SAFE SETOP BOX

A method for protecting webpage with a safe server or an STB(Set-Top Box) equipped with the safe server are provided to prevent illegal leakage of components in the webpage as well as the webpage by automatically installing a browser plug-in when a user visits a site applying the safe server through the safe server or the STB equipped with the safe server. The user requests the webpage through a web browser by using a user terminal. The safe server checks whether security setting is set to a requested URL(Uniform Resource Locator) and passes a webpage request to a web server in the case of a general webpage. It is checked whether the webpage request is received from a safe client and a policy is requested after checking the policy of the requested URL by linking with an external server if the request is received from the safe client. The policy for the URL is processed and a result is transmitted to the safe server. The webpage of the URL is requested to the web server. The requested webpage is transmitted to the safe server.
