METHOD OF REINFORCING COMPRESSION STRENGTH OF CLAY BRICK AND PREVENTING THE CLAY BRICK FROM CRACKING AND THE APPARATUS THE SAME

A method for increasing compression intensity and preventing crack generation using natural cooling in clay brick manufacturing process and an apparatus for the same are provided to enhance considerably the own compression intensity of clay bricks by maintaining high temperature for a certain period, to reduce significantly the generation rate of cracks in clay brick by preventing significant temperature difference against time progressing, to improve largely the production yield, and to improve largely the reliability of products. The method for increasing compression intensity and preventing crack generation using natural cooling in clay brick manufacturing process includes a cooling process, in which the clay bricks piled up on the cart are cooled naturally for 12~13 hours at room temperature in the state of being covered by thermal cap. The apparatus for increasing compression intensity and preventing crack generation includes a thermal cover comprising inner/outer steel plates and insulating material, which is established removably on the piled up clay bricks for maintaining temperature during cooling process.
