SELF LOCATION ESTIMATION SCHEME IN Wireless SENSOR NETWORK

A method for recognizing a location based on the wireless sensor network is provided to maximally reduce a location recognition error caused by characteristics of a wireless channel by making a sensor autonomously recognize the location in consideration of a wireless channel state. A distance between the sensor and a reference node is calculated by using at least one of intensity and delay of a reception single received from the reference node. The location of the sensor is measured by using the distance between the sensor and the reference node, and location information of the reference node. Weight representing the wireless channel state with the reference node at a measurement location of the sensor is calculated based on distribution for the average intensity/distance of the reception signal at the sensor. The location of the sensor is determined by increasing a reflection ratio of the measurement location having the higher weight.
