PURPOSE: A method for controlling dynamic characteristics of rotating body by adjusting position of bearing is provided to variably set up a position of a bearing installed on a periphery of a rotating body to keep stable dynamic characteristics of the rotating body. CONSTITUTION: A method comprises six steps. The first step(S10) is to estimate dangerous velocity of a rotating body using existing physical quantities. The second step(S20) is to control a position of a bearing installed on a bearing position adjusting device on a periphery of a rotary axis of the rotating body. The third step(S30) is to rotate the rotary axis. The fourth step(S40) is to measure dynamic characteristics of the rotary axis. The fifth step(S60) is to determine whether dangerous factors have influences on the rotary axis. The sixth step(S70) is to return to the second step if the dangerous factors have influences on the rotary axis and keep the position of the bearing fixed to complete a test if the dangerous factors have no influence.
