Sales promotion and customer management services by registering real items with virtual items and its method using RFID tags, mobile RFID readers, and customer management server

A system and a method for promoting sales using virtual items, a mobile terminal having a virtual item registration function and the method thereof are provided to promote the sales by processing/registering a webpage including the virtual item corresponding to an RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification) tag number, which is received from the mobile terminal, and link information for buying a real product to a homepage of a user. A member information database(25) stores a mobile phone number of members. A virtual item database(26) stores the RFID tag number assigned to the product by linking with matched virtual item ID information. A member authenticator(21) authenticates the member by searching the mobile phone number from the member information database when a virtual item registration request is received from the mobile terminal. A virtual item searcher searches the virtual item matched with the RFID tag number from the virtual item database. A virtual item register stores the searched virtual item and the mobile phone number and registers the virtual item to the homepage of the member by transmitting the searched virtual item to a web server storing/managing the homepage.
