A performance evaluation system and a management method of an absorption oil for recovering light oil in coke oven gas are provided to improve a recovery ratio of light oil components in coke oven gas by setting up the standard of an absorption oil of which performance is deteriorated due to change in chemical and physical properties of an absorption oil for refining the coke oven gas, and replacing the absorption oil according to conditions. In a system for recovering aromatic organic compounds such as benzene, toluene, xylene and the like that are some volatile organic materials contained in coke oven gas into an absorption oil in a light oil recovery system of a dry distillation process of preparing coke by mixing plural types of coals in an ironmaking process, a performance evaluation system of the absorption oil considering physical and chemical properties comprises: calculating a final performance evaluation index(Per.Index) by the expression, Per.Index=13.81-0.222Temp+2.47K.Vis+2.16Eff.com-0.113K.VisxEff.com, after measuring temperature(Temp)(deg.C), kinetic viscosity(K.Vis)(cSt) and effective chemical component index(Eff.com)(%) as physical and chemical properties of an absorption oil for refining the coke oven gas; and evaluating performance of the absorption oil by the performance evaluation index.
