A method of channel coding for a digital communication system and a channel coding device using the same are provided to recover an analog signal closest to a transmission signal even though a bit error is generated, by making hamming distance among corresponding channel codes far distant as an analog value difference among digital codes increases. In a method of channel coding for a digital communication system, analog data are quantized and then are converted into digital data corresponding to digital codes(S110). Channel codes are allocated to the digital codes in order for hamming distance of the corresponding channel codes to be set distant as analog value difference among the digital codes increases(S120). Channel-coded digital data are generated by performing channel coding of the digital data using the channel codes allocated to the digital data(S130).
