The present invention microorganisms producing 2,6-naphthalene dicarboxylic acid , its preparation method and this using relates to a method of producing 2,6-naphthalene dicarboxylic acid , more specifically, by treating a microorganism capable of decomposing the 2,6-dimethyl naphthalene by UV or chemical mutagen 2,6-naphthalenedicarboxylic acid microorganism which produces an acid , to a preparation method thereof and the production method of 2,6-naphthalene dicarboxylic acid using the same. Using the novel mutant strain of Bacillus FN-303 of the present invention to the 2,6-dimethyl- naphthalene as a starting material is expected to be a biological mass production of 2,6-naphthalene dicarboxylic acid .
