A setting apparatus of a medicine yarn for a traditional oriental medicine needle for aqua-acupuncture is provided to reduce a working time greatly compared with an existing work by hand, and to improve reliability about a product by uniformity of packing. The setting apparatus includes: a case(10) installed on a base plate(11) and having an air compressor and a lamp; a support rod(20) having an upper panel(21), side panels(22), and a lower panel(23) formed in a square frame, a vertical guide pole(24), and a horizontal guide pole(25); a medicine needle setting block(30) having a support plate(31) for holding medicine needles; a medicine yarn supplying block(40) installed on the medicine needle setting block; a medicine yarn penetration block(50) installed under the medicine needle setting block; a medicine yarn fixing block(60); a first pneumatic cylinder(C1); a second pneumatic cylinder(C2); and a switching box(70) for controlling the air compressor according to operation of the cylinders.
