2 A novel Bacillus subtilis FBS-2 active against plant fungal pathogens and preparation of microbial pesticide

A novel microorganism inhibiting growth of plant fungal pathogens, Bacillus subtilis FBS-2, and microbial preparations for controlling the plant fungal pathogens by using the same microorganism are provided to prevent and treat plant diseases caused by plant fungal pathogens in an environment-friendly manner by treating the leaf of plant or culture soil with the cultured medium of the microorganism. The microorganism inhibiting growth of plant fungal pathogens, Bacillus subtilis FBS-2(KCTC 10911BP), is isolated from the soil, wherein the plant fungal pathogens include Sphaerotheca macular, Botritis cinerea and Fusarium solani. The microbial preparation for controlling the plant fungal pathogens is prepared by culturing Bacillus subtilis FBS-2(KCTC 10911BP) in a medium and diluting the cultured medium with water at a dilution ratio of 0-20 times.
