FLEXIBLE PAVEMENT STRUCTURE BY USING RUBBER CHIPS AND ITS CONSTRUCTION PROCESS

An elastic pavement structure using rubber chips is provided to increase durability such as impact resistance and abrasion resistance by applying a surface layer composed of acryl emulsion resins on an elastic layer composed of waste rubber chips and foam rubber chips. The elastic pavement structure using rubber chips comprises a primer layer(20) applied on a base layer(10), an elastic layer(30) composed of 30~50 weight percent waste rubber chips crushed into a size of 1~2mm, 50~70 weight percent foam rubber chips crushed into a size of 2~3mm and 20~35 weight percent binder resins and applied on the primer layer, an adhesion layer(40) composed of poly urethane based sealant and applied on the elastic layer, and a surface layer(50) composed of acryl emulsion resins containing 3~10 weight percent methacrylate, 5~12 weight percent butyl acryl, 5~12 weight percent methyl methacrylate and 0.5~3 weight percent hydroxy methacrylate and applied on the adhesion layer to a thickness of 2~5mm.
