A heat pump type compound air conditioning apparatus using a brine system is provided to reduce a cooling or heating load when operating a heat pump and to cool or heat only by a heat exchange between an outdoor air and a brine refrigerant when the heat pump is not operating. A heat pump type compound air conditioning apparatus(100) using a brine system includes a first heat pump(10), a second heat pump(10a), and a brine refrigerant circulation device(50). The first and the second heat pumps include a compressor(11), an indoor heat exchanger(20), an outdoor heat exchanger(30), a four-way valve(15), an expansion valve(25), and a refrigerant line(40). The brine refrigerant circulation device includes a store tank(51), a heat transfer unit(60), a pump(55), an indoor heat exchanger(70), an outdoor heat exchanger(80), a first valve(77) and a second valve(87). The brine refrigerant circulation device operates with an opening and closing of the first and second valves for cooling or heating according to a seasonal environment condition.
