INPUT/OUTPUT MANAGING APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CONTEXT ADAPTIVE SERVICE IN KNOWLEDGE-BASED HOME NETWORK

An input/output managing apparatus for context adaptive service based on multi home network and a method thereof are provided to enlarge interface functions in a multiple home network circumference by increasing a processing speed. An input/output managing apparatus for context adaptive service based on multi home network includes a first translator(11), a data filter(12), a query engine(13), a scheduler(14), and a second translator. The first translator(11) analyzes and translates input sensing information from an external sensor agent into a shaped data format. The data filter(12) tests whether the data from the first translator(11) is data required for providing services, and extracts valid data. The query engine(13) obtains policy and service information corresponding to the valid data and user information from an inferential engine. The scheduler(14) manages schedules of a corresponding service based on the obtained information from the query engine(13). The second translator translates data defining the corresponding service scheduled from the scheduler(14) suited to a data format of each bundle.
