INSERTION TYPE TIE BAR FOR CONCRETE PAVEMANT AND PAVEMANT METHOD USING THE SAME

An insertion type tie bar for a concrete pavement and a road pavement method using the tie bar are provided to form a road pavement structure in a strong structure by increasing the adhesive strength of a tie bar and the existing pavement slab using a friction increaser. The invention relates to an insertion type tie bar(30) for a concrete pavement for reinforcing the lower part of a joint of a pavement, which includes an insert anchorage(100) formed on one end of the tie bar and inserted/anchored in a lateral insertion hole(21) of an adjacent pavement slab(20), and a friction increaser(200) formed on the insert anchorage to reinforce the fixation with an adjacent pavement slab. Hereon the friction increaser contains a wedge(210) projected to the outer circumference of the insert anchorage to insert the tie bar to the insertion hole easily and to prevent the separation of the tie bar after installation and a male thread projected to the outer circumference of the insert anchorage to attach the tie bar with the adjacent pavement slab strongly. The road pavement method using a tie bar comprises the steps of perforating an insertion hole on the side of an adjacent pavement and inserting an insert anchorage of a tie bar to the insertion hole, and injecting grouting such as epoxy to the insertion hole.
