NEW CLONAL VARIETY CHOYOUNG WITH INCOMPLETE BOLTING AND TROPICAL GROWTH HABIT BEING APT FOR BIG-BULBLETS CULTIVATION IN ALLIUM SPECIES

摘要

Provided is a novel clonal variety, choyoung, with incomplete bolting and tropical growth habit being apt for big-bulblets cultivation in allium species which is able to produce marketability by increasing weight of bulblets, and has improved disease resistance, sugar content and mild taste of allium species. The novel clonal variety, choyoung, being apt for big-bulblets cultivation in allium species has the properties including (i) incomplete bolting, (ii) location of involucre and flower stalk within sheath, (iii) high ratio of big-bulblet such as 5-7 big bulblets having 1g or more per bulb, (iv) proliferation of seeds by asexual propagation and (v) tropical growth habit.
