An automatic water supply apparatus for bed-soil mat is provided to reduce labor power remarkably and recycle used water by collecting water into a water collecting tank. The automatic water supply apparatus comprises: a rice-seedling nursery box conveying device(10) containing a horizontal frame(13,14), a plurality of feed rollers(16) and a rotating device(A) to convey a rice-seedling nursery box; an automatic water supply device(30) to supply water to a mat-type nursery automatically; and a control part(40) to control the rice seedling-nursery box conveying device and automatic water supply device automatically. The rotating device contains a pair of pulleys, belt, driving motor and driving pulley. The automatic water supply device contains a water collecting tank(32), horizontal water supply pipe(36) and water supply pipe(38) connected to an underwater motor inside the water collecting tank.
