A GAX(Generator Absorber Heat Exchanger) ammonia absorption type refrigerator is provided to increase the temperature of cooling water from a water cooling absorber for supplying hot water for heating or hot water supply without any additional elements. A GAX(Generator Absorber Heat Exchanger) ammonia absorption type refrigerator includes a solution cooling absorber(154) and a water cooling absorber(152) arranged in parallel with respect to the ground at a lower part of a GAX ammonia absorber(156). A refrigerant solution supplied from the GAX ammonia absorber is branched by half and introduced to upper parts of the solution cooling absorber and the water cooling absorber, so that absorption of refrigerant vapor is generated in the solution cooling absorber and the water cooling absorber.
