OVERLAPPED SKIRTS PROTECTING A JOINT OF NUCLEAR ROBOT AGAINST RADIOACTIVE MATERIAL CONTAMINATION

An overlapped skirt is provided to effectively protect a rotating or moving part of a nuclear robot from radioactive material contamination and to allow for ease of decontamination. An overlapped skirt includes a fixed sealing skirt(1) for covering an outer surface of a stator(5), and a rotatable sealing skirt(2) for covering a rotor(6). Each of the fixed sealing skirt and the rotatable sealing skirt includes an overlapped portion(3) at a connection(4) between the stator and the rotor and formed by overlapping parts of the fixed sealing skirt and the rotatable sealing skirt.
