METHOD FOR RELAY ARRANGEMENT AND ALGORITHM OF RESOURCE ALLOCATION IN OFDM-BASED MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS

A method for arranging base stations/repeaters in a mobile communication system based on the OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) and a method for allocating/releasing wireless resources using the same are provided to cancel inter-cell interference by allocating repeater resources to sub-sectors, thereby maximizing the efficiency of resources. A method for arranging base stations/repeaters in a mobile communication system based on the OFDM comprises the following steps of: arranging a first base station and a second base station so that the cell radius between the first and second base stations can be bigger than a predetermined and the outer radius can be smaller than a predetermined; selecting a position at which the repeater is installed on the basis of the cell radius information between the first base station and the second base station; and arranging the repeaters on the basis of the selected repeater position.
