摘要
PURPOSE: A wireless position tracking system and method is provided to offer an exclusive server corresponding to each kind of wireless data network for being adapted to various packet process methods so that it can track a position of a vehicle or an employer in real time and transmit a message to the vehicle or the employer. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises an NCVO main processor(201), NCVO FEPs(Front End Processors, 204), an MCVO main processor(202), MCVO FEPs(205) and a position and vehicle information database(203). The NCVO main processor(201) is for tracking a position of a vehicle based on a GPS(Global Positioning System) and the MCVO main processor(202) for tracking a position of a vehicle based on a cell like in the CDMA(Code Division Multiple Access). The main processors(201, 202) read vehicle data from the database(203), construct a terminal data tree and a vehicle data tree used for a packet transmission on a memory, and make the FEPs(204, 205) and an application algorithm wait for a request signal. A position tracking algorithm(207), positioned at an application server, transmits packets to either of the main processors(201, 202) by driving a packet transmission program corresponding to a user request. A C/S based position control algorithm(209), positioned at a GIS(Geographical Information System), transmits the packets, constructed according to a user request, to either of the main processors(201, 202). The main processors(201, 202) transmit the received packets to a corresponding FEP by checking a network identification number within a packet. The FEP transmits the packet to a corresponding wireless network server or receives the packet from the wireless network server and transmits the packet to the C/S based position control algorithm(209).
