A stand type heat exchange ventilating apparatus is provided to improve the ventilating efficiency by arranging a suction part for sucking polluted indoor air in at an intermediate part of a case corresponding to a breath line of a human body, and forming an outlet part discharging fresh outdoor air at an upper part of the case. A case(1) has an indoor air suction part at the intermediate part, an outdoor outlet at the upper part, and an upper space part and a heat exchange chamber. A heat exchanger(5) is installed under the indoor air suction part in a horizontal direction, and has an indoor air inlet side, an indoor air outlet side, an outdoor air inlet side, and an outdoor air outlet side, wherein the indoor air inlet side is opposite to the indoor air suction part. The heat exchange chamber is divided into an indoor air inlet space, an indoor air outlet space, an outdoor air inlet space, and an outdoor air outlet space by an upper vertical diaphragm, a lower vertical diaphragm, a front horizontal diaphragm, and a rear horizontal diaphragm. An outdoor air supply fan(32) is installed in the outdoor air outlet space for sucking outdoor air in and discharging the outdoor air into a room. An indoor air exhaust fan(46) is installed in the indoor air outlet space for sucking indoor air in and discharging the indoor air to the outside.
