REMOTE MANAGEMENT METHOD USING WEB SERVICE OF EMBEDDED DEVICE

A method for remotely managing an embedded device with a web service is provided to control the embedded device by reducing size of a description message of the embedded device and modifying only the management data file of a management data layer for the embedded device performing the similar function. Action of the embedded device using the web service is separately formed by a control command layer of a WSDL(Web Service Description Language) document and the management data layer declared in XML(eXtensible Markup Language)(S910). The management data tree is generated based on the separately formed action(S920). The action is performed by using the management data tree(S930). A conventional application is minimally modified by registering a management data editing or processing function in the management data layer.
