A method for preparing a nanoclay-styrene butadiene latex composite for a tire reinforcing agent, the nanoclay-styrene butadiene latex composite prepared by the method, and a rubber composition for a tire containing the latex composite are provided to improve the uniformity of dispersion of nanoclay in a rubber composition, to enhance strength and modulus of the rubber composition. A method for preparing a nanoclay-styrene butadiene latex composite comprises the steps of adding nanoclay to water to swell it; injecting a styrene butadiene latex having a width of 10 nm and containing a cationic chain terminal into the swollen nanoclay to stir for the cation exchange between the cation of a nanoclay silicate layer and a styrene butadiene latex; injecting a styrene monomer and a butadiene monomer into the obtained one; and polymerizing the mixture by growing the chain of a styrene butadiene latex until the interval between the silicate layers of nanoclay reaches 20 nm or more.
