A method for processing segmented objects of object-based mobile broadcasting in a mobile terminal and the mobile terminal thereof are provided to efficiently select objects of the object-based mobile broadcasting in the mobile terminal having no touch screen and access information or receive a related service by sequentially selecting objects with a specific key of the mobile terminal. A broadcasting signal processor(161) divides a mobile broadcasting signal into a video, audio, and object-related data signal from, and processes the divided signals. An object data processor(162) processes the object-related data signal divided from the mobile broadcasting signal, synchronizes the video signal with an object appearance time and area, displays object information and object presence information according to user input, and recognizes and processes the selected object if a user selects the object with input of the specific key. An object link processor(163) performs wireless Internet connection to an address by receiving link address information from the object data processor if the user requests object-related link by selecting the object with the input of the specific key.
