Portable apparatus for language studying having MP3 function and words searching function and method for studying language the same

A portable language studying device and a language study method using the same are provided to improve learning efficiency by enabling a user to retrieve vocabularies in real time. A portable language studying device includes a memory(120) and a main processor unit(130). The memory stores a content having voice information, image information, vocabulary information on languages and the synchronization information. In a study mode, the main processor unit synchronizes the voice information with the image information and outputs voice and image signals. In a vocabulary searching mode, the main processor unit temporarily stops outputting the voice and image information and outputs the vocabulary information corresponding to a selected word from a user. The portable language studying device includes a key/button input unit(110) for receiving commands from the user.
