METHOD FOR BRIDGING WIRELESS BRIDGE FOR WIRELESS IEEE 1394 NETWORK AND THE WIRELESS BRIDGE APPARATUS THEREOF

A wireless bridging method and apparatus for a wireless IEEE1394 network environment are provided to solve a problem that a 1394. 1 bridge provided in a wireless 1394 network supports only 1394 devices that have a bridge awareness function. Air interfaces(114,214) receive information on IEEE1394 devices included in an external cluster from the external cluster. When the information on the IEEE1394 devices included in the external cluster are received, controllers(116,216) reset a bus of the cluster. The air interfaces(114,214) are divided into a physical layer section and a link layer section, and the physical layer section sequentially generates self-IDs of the IEEE1394 devices. The controllers(116,216) generate a routing table including IDs of the IEEE1394 devices included in the cluster, the generated self-IDs of the IEEE1394 devices, and original IDs of the IEEE1394 devices included in the external cluster, respectively.
