An arrangement structure of a rubber bearing for isolating a bridge from earthquake shock and the rubber bearing therefor are provided to protect the bridge against the earthquake by damping shock with a friction plate of the one-way rubber bearing. An integrally high damping rubber bearing(3) is arranged in the middle of a bridge, and frictional one-way high damping rubber bearings(4) are arranged at both sides of the bridge. The frictional one-way high damping rubber bearing comprises an upper plate having a guide groove, a lower plate spaced from the upper plate, an elastic member inserted between the upper and lower plates, a metal plate inserted to the elastic member, a guide engaged with the guide groove of the upper plate and mounted in the middle of the elastic member to guide one-way movement of the upper plate, and a friction plate inserted between the upper plate and the elastic member. The friction plate is made of frictional PTFE(Polytetrafluoroethylene) including a filler such as glass, carbon, graphite or molybdenum.
