EFFECTIVE INOCULATION METHOD OF INDIGENOUS AMF FOR IMPROVEMENT OF GINSENG PRODUCTIVITY

A method for inoculating AMF(Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi) into ginseng is provided to improve the germination rate of spore of inoculating source by attaching the AMF to ginseng seedling right before the transplantation, thereby significantly improving the growth and productivity of the ginseng. A method for inoculating AMF comprises the steps of: (a) isolating AMF propagule from a ginseng cultivating place; (b) proliferating the AMF propagule for 16-24 weeks using a host plant such as Sudan grass; (c) drying roots of the host plant and the culture soil to homogenize them; (d) mixing the homogenized culture body with an adhesive material such as wheat flour, starch syrup, hydroxyethylcellulose(HEC), a decomposed solution of an extract of seaweeds and a mixture thereof to prepare an AMF inoculating source; and (e) attaching the AMF inoculating source to ginseng seedlings right before the transplantation.
