FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: method involves bringing the stumps close and transferring short fibular muscle tendon into diastasis region. The diastasis is removed by stretching tendino-muscular complex and fixing proximal tendon stump on calcaneus with tie of two U-shaped loops. Next, transferred short fibular muscle tendon end is moved longitudinally upward in the bulk and over the proximal stump surface, intermuscular partitions are dissected and Achilles tendon fascia bed is widened. Then the tendon is attached to lacertus of gastrocnemius and to tendon stumps.;EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in providing musculotendinous complex tension; early stage recovery of active feet movements.;4 dwg
