FIELD: machine engineering, possibly restoration of metal cutting equipment, namely for working guides of housing without dismounting them or any other flat surfaces.;SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes base and carriage, both mounted with possibility of reciprocation motion in two mutually normal directions. Changeable tool head is mounted in traverse bar that may perform axial motion. Tool head is provided with mechanisms for regulating its inclination angles and its forcing effort to worked surface. Additional shaft and column fixed to carriage movably mounted in base are arranged mutually parallel and they are joined with said traverse bar. The last is built-up one, it has part joined with column and with additional shaft and part carrying tool head. Mechanisms for regulating inclination angle and forcing effort are in the form of worm transmissions arranged respectively in parts of traverse bar and in additional shaft. Traverse bar and additional shaft are mounted in column with possibility of simultaneous circular motion relative to vertical axis of column.;EFFECT: enhanced versatility, operational reliability and working accuracy of apparatus.;5 cl, 4 dwg
