FIELD: measuring technique.;SUBSTANCE: method comprises setting the shell over the inner surface, basing the shell with three ports in the bottom on three pins inclined at angles close to 120°. The measurements are carried out by means of gauge moving along the normal to the generatrix of the shell. The alignment is judged by the free movement of the gauge in the port in the wall. The device comprises a built-in sinus device with movable and unmovable branches. The movable brunch is provided with spring-loaded slide that carries the gauge moving radially for permitting its rotation over the vertical at an axis whose center lies at the axis of the shell. The angle is adjusted by means of reference cylindrical roller interposed between the working surfaces of the movable and unmovable measuring branches of the sinus device. The base of movement of the reference roller for conical shells is determined from the formula proposed. The right angle is set by means of coinciding the working planes of the movable and unmovable measuring branches of the sinusoidal device.;EFFECT: enhanced reliability and accuracy of measurements.;4 cl, 6 dwg
