FIELD: heat power engineering.;SUBSTANCE: method comprises preliminary water-oxygen cleaning and passivating of water-steam path of the power plant by means of a cleaning water-based agent in the mixture with oxygen at a high temperature of 350-450°C and high oxygen concentration of 1-2 g/kg. During operation, oxygen is supplied to the feeding water permanently, and at a concentration of ferrum compounds more than 10 μg/kg, oxygen is supplied periodically.
