METHOD FOR PREVENTING DIARRHEA IN PIGLETS

FIELD: veterinary medicine.;SUBSTANCE: it is necessary to introduce blood preparation as acidic hydrolyzate, its pH should be increased up to about 3.5-4.0 due to adding lactic, benzoic and succinic acids, at the following ratio of components, weight%: lactic acid 0.3-0.4; benzoic acid 0.04-0.05; succinic acid 0.1-0.2; acidic hydrolyzate - the rest. This preparation should be given for sows about 3-5 d before the farrow and after it together with the feedstuff at the dosage of 350-400 ml, then for neonatal piglets - once daily at the dosage of about 3-5 ml for 3 d, as for weanlings - 3 d before weaning and during 7 d after weaning thrice daily together with the feedstuff at 20-25 ml/animal. The innovation decreases sickness rate in piglets in case of diarrhea.;EFFECT: higher efficiency of prophylaxis.;1 ex, 1 tbl
