METHOD FOR NATURAL FOREST REGENERATION ON FELLED AREAS AFTER FELLING WORKS USING MACHINED HARVESTING

FIELD: forest industry, in particular, natural forest regeneration on felled areas.;SUBSTANCE: method involves leaving seed strips on felled area upon accomplishment of felling works using machined harvesting process, said seed strips extending transverse to felled area. Seed strips are first provided at one side of secondary spur, then at other side thereof, 150 m from first strip, so as to accomplish working of the entire felled area in such a manner. Width of seed strip should be equal to average height of forest stand.;EFFECT: increased efficiency of felling works using machined harvesting, and improved forest growing conditions.;1 dwg
