FIELD: chemical industry; other industries; electrodes, methods and the devices for treatment of the surfaces with the electric discharge.;SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the electrode intended for treatment of the surface with the electric discharge. The electrode represents the non-sintered pressing product manufactured by molding of the powders. The pulsing electric discharge is generated between the electrode and the product in the dielectric liquid. On the surface of the product using the power of the electric discharge form the coating out of the material of the electrode or out of the substance, which is formed as a result of the reaction of the electrode. The electrode contains 40 volumetric % or more of the metallic material, which does not yield to the carbonization or badly yields to the carbonization. The invention also represents the method of treatment of the surface with the given electrode and the device for realization of this method.
