FIELD: technology for determining mechanical properties of materials.;SUBSTANCE: in accordance to method, experimental compressions of spherical micro or nano-particles by means of varying concentrated force are performed. Shifts in point of effect of force onto particle are calculated. Graph of relation of movements and applied force in point of force effect on particle is built. For reference values of resilience modulus and Poisson's ratio of material being studied, experimental dependence of movements of value of applied force in point of its effect on particle is compared to analytical dependence of movements on value of applied force in point of effect of force on resilient ball, compressed by concentrated forces, applied to opposite ends of diameter and directed in parallel. Radius of resilient ball equals radius of particle, calculated forces applied to resilient ball are equal to force applied to particle. By changing resilience modulus, a value of it is found, at which experimental dependence of movements on value of applied force in point of effect of force onto particle and analytical dependence of movements on value of applied force in point of effect of force on resilient ball, compressed by concentrated forces, applied to opposite ends of its diameter, coincide (from computation of minimal average quadratic error).;EFFECT: it is possible to determine resilience modulus for spherical micro and nano-particles.;4 dwg
