FIELD: building units, particularly door and window structures.;SUBSTANCE: method for door and window frame production involves treating parts made of whole-section timber to create depressions with narrow sections for metal or polyvinylchloride members receiving; assembling above parts to form fixed and sliding frames by connecting transversal members and posts of the frame with the use of angle members to be secured to four frame corners and expansion-resistant members to be stretched over frames; securing metal or polyvinylchloride members in depressions made in inner sides of fixed frames and in outer elements of sliding frames by means of screws; connecting parts, which provide frame opening, closing and operation, to fixed and sliding frames. Wooden parts for fixed and sliding frames production are assembled by connecting transversal members and posts with the use of metal angle members and threaded rods obliquely extending in frame corners between two rod ends to apply tightening force to two corner sides. The tightening force provides accurate connection of transversal members and posts defining the corner.;EFFECT: simplified door and window installation.;9 cl, 12 dwg
