FIELD: the invention refers to seismology.;SUBSTANCE: the mode for correction of periodic distortions in seismic data conditioned with parameters of a registration system, by way of filtration of data modified in the result of unitary transformation. For receiving frequency-space seismic data vertical transformation is applied to seismic data. These data are divided on an amplitude component and a component of phase response. The component of phase response is stored for inverting process. Horizontal transformation is applied to the amplitude component of F-X data for receiving data modified in the result of transformation. As this transformation is fulfilled in the direction X in this request it is also called as Fourier's horizontal direct transformation. To F-K data is applied a K-filter based on the period of a wave supposed for weakening or exclusion. Then the data are inverted for receiving T-X data with weakening or excluding distortions.;EFFECT: allows to correct periodic distortions in seismic data.;20 cl, 8 dwg
